crafting a healthy, happy life

How will you take care of yourself this year?

To ring in 2016, I made a list of things I'd like to do.

NOT resolutions, but little things I could do to be happier and healthier.

One of my big goals for 2016 is to expand my business to include the teaching of knitting classes for adults and children. And guess what?

It's happening!! Classes are forming now and I'm SO excited!

If you've always wanted to learn and live in the Wilmington, DE area, now is the time. Go to and click on CLASSES for all the details!

Below you'll find a few things I'm loving right now, each inspired by something from my To Do List for 2016. Enjoy!

5 Things I'm Loving

I really want to check out the Delaware Art Museum! I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've lived in Delaware for almost 14 years now and have never been here. They offer free workshops on the second Sunday of every month. The one for January looks like a lot of fun!

Did you know that knitting and yoga have similar benefits? They make a pretty good pair. Since I love knitting, I think I'll give yoga a serious try!

Spending time with my girls is ALWAYS something on my list of things to do. Here's a list of kid's winter crafts we can check out together.

Do you like to listen to podcasts? I do. I find that they're great for when I want to multitask: I can listen while I work or exercise. Here's a great one for people who enjoy crafts. It's full of inspiration and motivation to get you moving.

Not sure what your goals are for 2016? That's ok! Here's a great read on how to start off your new year simply, no huge goals necessary.

Hey there!

Well, the holidays have come and gone. Now it's back to reality!

I'm glad the weather is finally getting colder here in Delaware. People aren't really looking to buy hats and scarves when it's in the 60s, you know what I mean?

This year is going to be great! I'm looking forward to building my business and making a name for myself. It's going to be a lot of work, but fun, too!

Until next time,

p.s. New items will be listed in the shop next week. I'm especially excited about the newest hat styles. Be on the lookout!
